It has been nearly five years since pop-punk legends, Sum 41, have released new music. That was until late Tuesday night, just over a month after announcing their signing to Hopeless Records, home to star acts such as All Time Low, Neck Deep and New Found Glory, the band announced its new album, “13 Voices.”
Fans rejoiced and eagerly awaited as the band held back on releasing the first song. At midnight, the band finally posted the song along with an accompanying music video. “Today is the day, we can’t wait any longer! You guys have been so patient and so awesome,” the band stated in the Facebook post.
The video features the band playing in a world filled with the internet’s most popular memes of the past five years. (Remember Miley Cyrus and Wrecking Ball anyone?) This track is sure to bring some crazy sing alongs and get the circle pit moving when it is played live, as it has already been added to the band’s Warped Tour set.
Give the track a listen, preorder the full album which is slated for release on October 7 and check the band out all summer on Vans Warped Tour.
